Celecoxib, a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) is a popular medication for treating pain, inflammation, and fever. It belongs to a class of drugs called COX-2 inhibitors, which work by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that causes pain and inflammation. It is important to follow the recommended dosage and duration of use of the medication, especially for patients who have limited or no response to traditional NSAIDs.
The recommended dose of Celebrex for the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is 100 to 200 milligrams daily. For treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and other conditions, it is recommended to take 200 milligrams twice daily for 10 days.
Celecoxib is available in tablets of 200mg and 400mg, and anhydrous capsules of 10 milligrams and 20 milligrams.
Celebrex dosage and duration are determined based on your medical history and the condition being treated. The usual recommended dosage of Celebrex for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is 200 milligrams twice daily. This dosage will be adjusted according to your response and tolerability. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
Celecoxib can be taken with or without food. If you have diarrhea, it may affect your ability to take the medication, so speak to your doctor if you experience any unusual side effects.

Celebrex is available in capsule form and anhydrous.
Dosage and duration are determined based on your body’s response to treatment. Heartburn and GERD can occur in both the short-term and long-term treatment of this condition. Celebrex dosage and duration are determined based on your medical condition and the condition being treated.
